Hello all,
been pulling my hair out and getting no where. I have watched videos and search the forum trying everything and having no luck.
Here is my configuration
I have a Gladiator NXT EVO right hand joystick and connected to it on the left are a GNX-SEM, GNX-THQ and a FMS-GA.
All of them are connected together and connect to the computer using the USB cable from the Joystick base.
I have the 3 detent plate for the gear and the 4 detent plate for the flaps.
I have updated all firmware and followed videos on configuring the detents.

Here is my problem.
The flaps are basically not working, all I get is button 58.
The 3rd axis on the GNX-THQ which is axis 9 I think is also not showing up or working. Yes I changed the drop down to get to is and it is just not there.

How can I completely wipe this thing and start from zero and reconfigure it? Also where can I find the correct steps to configure it.

The gear lever does funny things to the flaps output.
If the gear lever is down button 62 then the flaps will only show button 58Same happens if gear is in the middle button 63.
If I set the gear to up button 64 now the flaps shows button 59, 60 and sometimes 61. Lots of flickering. Crazy. The unit has not been used much as all so shoud not be worn or dirty.

Show tabs Global-External, Profile-Buttons (physical and logical level).

So after thinking about this I remembered I needed to check the En and Vs boxes on the Axes tab. So I did that and then clicked the Set button to write the info.
Now my computer makes a sound when I connect the joystick and the lights come on and then they go out and I cannot see anything in the config. The joystick is just not there.
How do I do a reset or get it into the bootloader so I can fix this?

Hard to do when the device is not detected. What firmware were you on? If it was between 2.14.5 and 2.17.4, the device staying blank might be due to a bug fixed in 2.17.5.

If you read my last message you would see that the joystick is not showing at all so I cannot show the screenshots of the tabs.

I was on 2.16.5.
How do I flash the software in the current state. When I start ZBootloader the device is not found so I need to get past that first. Also where do I get the 2.17.5 firmware? The website only has 2.16.5.

Ok I got progress.
Using F1-F2 I was able to get it to start and I reinstalled the 2.16.5 firmware.
Sense I was working on fixing it I added my second GNX-THQ so the config is as follows

(GNX-THQ)-(GNX-THQ)-(GNX-SEM)-(Gladiator EVO)
I do have a FSM-GA but it is currently not connected.

SO after the fix and reinstall of the firmware I have the first 8 axis all working and calibrated. All buttons work on all units including the 4 position flaps.
Only issue I have now is the extra 4 axis that are not working at all. I tried to enable the En and Vs checkboxes and hit the set button but that kills the unist and I have to reset again. So I'm missing something. If you can include steps along with the answer that would be great. Thank you.

To find the remaining axes, you need to open the remaining devices. This is where they will be visible. And after this you can put En and Vs opposite them and search on VC2.
It looks like the keyboard is turned on, but the key settings are not visible - why then?

Here are screenshots of that and it looks correct to me. I also included the Axis test screen and nothing is showing there and I tried both the VC1 and VC2 radio buttons at the top right.
I hate asking all the questions but I'm just lost what I am missing here.

There can only be 8 axes on one controller, so they are transferred to VC2. Don't forget to calibrate them.

It is so close now. I have everything working except the 12th axis with is VC2 axis 4. As soon as I select the checkboxes En and Vs and then click the set button to send it to the joystick, it restarts and fails to start. I have to unplug it and hold F1 and F2. Then it restarts and I can load the saved profile with 11 axis set.

I had to add 9, 10 & 11 one at a time or it would fail. But no matter what I do 12 fails every time. Driving me nuts.

Try updating the configurator and firmware.
After the update, you must reconfigure the devices connected to the GL NXT Evo.

That is a bug in 2.14.5 that got gixed with 2.17.5. I recommend 2.17.6 or above from the link above to be able to use more than 11 axes.

Ok so I installed the new Config and bootloader programs. I think installed firmware 2.178 and now all my axis are working but now my 4 position flaps are not working. I get the random jumps from button 58-59. Do I need to boot the SEM into config and tell it again that it is 4 position?
