Gunfighter IV not registrating Twist and min joy

Postby just » Sat Jan 20, 2024 16:33

Hi guys.

New to VKB so please bear with me.
I just got the Gunfighter IV with Ultimate grip and Blackbox 3.
I have gone thru all the videos that is suggested with the product, but have failed somewhere as I only have pitch and roll axis working. Twist is not working, Mini stick not working. Break not working.
I went online and found someone saying that I needed to flash the device. I think that worked although the video on YouTube is a bit old and the option for BB3 is not shown.

in vkb device config the stick comes up as : VKBSim Gunfighter modern Combat Pro XT2 v2.165
Firmware is : v2.165

Blackbox 3 Shows :

Left : Steady Blue

Right : Steady Yellow
Right : Steady Green

I really hope that someone can help me out and get this working as I'm sure it can't be a faulty product.

Thank you in advance

It just needs to be properly initialized:
- run VKBDevCfg as Admin and select the device at the top;
- click the Default button under the Tools tab;
- after restart you'll get a popup asking to configure, click Yes;
- another restart, another popup, this time asking to calibrate, click No;
- follow exactly this guide in order to calibrate your device.

Thank you Fallout.

A nice person on discord helped me. The grip was not attached all the way as I was afreight to push down too much.

Regarding your guides, think they needs to be updated. Fx. There is not an "no" option and as a newbie to your platform it easily get a bit confusing.

Super nice products and I'm looking forward to start using and refine my grip and stec to my liking.
Again thank you for your quick answer.
