Probleme led and detection windows 11 Gladiator NXT EVO

Hello, I am French so sorry for the mistakes in English. I bought a Gladiator NXT EVO (premium) on the RU website. This joystick is absolutely amazing in flight feeling, these work great. Unfortunately I'm having a lot of problems.

1- I have to flash the joystick many times and use several VKBDevCfg-C.exe for the grip to be recognized.
2- The signs: I connect the joystick but the grip in the EXTERNAL DEVICE tab remains in red
3- Without really understanding suddenly the grip light starts to turn green, the light signal is very weak, then becomes brighter, then turns blue. The grip is detected in the EXTERNAL DEVICE tab.
4- When I disconnect the joystick cable or when I restart the PC, every other time, problem (2) returns……….
My configuration: Laptop Gamer MSI

Take a photo of the grip cable connector in the base. Perhaps that is where the problem lies.

i dont really believe is from connectic, is look weak alimentation because it's really very strange how the grip light lights up gradually.

also I forgot to mention but 1/2 the axes are reversed.... this is corrected by changing the executable VKBDevCfg-C.exe.

for add information i use the firmware _Gladiator_EVO_v2_16_5

There was a case where the pins were not fully inserted into the connector, so check this.

Last update..... after turning off my laptop several times (at night or when I'm not using it I turn it off), no problem the joystick works....
The day before yesterday I turned on my laptop and for no reason the problem came back...

what I do :
I flash the joystick with frimwar 16.5.
I run the device config 92.88 program.
and I wait, several minutes, or hour, and suddenly the joystick light turns from green to blue...........

these a bit like an old Lada )))))))


It would be nice if the designers focused on this problem because it seems that I am not the only one to have this problem.

track: maybe a different power supply between a desktop computer and a lap top?

Try to connect joystick using USB HUB with external power supply.

More like your laptop is an old Lada and the joystick is an iPhone you're trying to connect to car's Bluetooth. Poor old Lada needs an upgrade in order to get there, so do what Victorus said and you'll be fine; it's just not enough power coming from the laptop in order to keep the joystick alive.

I just bought a USB power HUB.

Same results, it doesn't work

i see have two different alimentation, 5V and 12V, can you say exaclty what Voltage need ?

I tried with USB HUB power (5V output).
it doesn't work,

I put the joystick back directly via USB on the laptop, the light starts to light up top joystick slowly green, and Bleu but surely very bright (just one problem it reverses the right and left axes, I usually solve the problem by using several executable device config .exe.)

for your question, the original cable I don't know but when I disconnect and connect from usb there is windows music, so I guess it works.
I tried on another laptop, the results were the same, infortunaly i dont have computer desk for try .

I am not specialized in electronics but it seems to me that the power supply track is correct.
I will buy with a 12V output.............
