GNX SEM "DOA"?

GNX SEM "DOA"?
I just bought two Gladiator NXT EVOs and the GNX SEM (Side Extension Module). When I opened the box from the GNX SEM and started putting everything together, I noticed the Type C to Type C cable was missing. I went out and bought one, and when I plugged in the GNX SEM to my computer, I noticed none of the lights were coming on the GNX SEM like in the video, and my computer was not detecting it, so I'm guessing it's "DOA".

Re: GNX SEM "DOA"?
The SEM could run in 2 ways - either connected to a Gladiator, like here, or independently, if upgraded with a GNX HID Controller, like here.
In case you'll decide to attach it to one of the Gladiators (it could go on both sides of either left or right joystick), follow the guide posted above, but be advised that the connector has changed on the Gladiator board, so you'll have to plug it like shown below:

Re: GNX SEM "DOA"?
I have also tried this method, and I am still having issues with the GNX SEM not lighting up and not being detected. I have also tried the GNX SEM on each joystick with no luck. Everything else is already setup and working fine, just having problems with the GNX SEM. I'm still guessing it's "DOA".

I have tried hooking it up using the other ports and I have also tried switch out cables to see if that would work, but still no luck.

Re: GNX SEM "DOA"?
Connections looks good. Now run VKBDevCfg, select the device at the top and click the Default button under the Tools tab. It will restart and you'll be presented with a popup asking to configure the device, click Yes. After another restart the proper device name should show up in the device list. Calibrate it as shown in guide (from timestamp) and you're good to go.

After setting everything back to Default, everything was up and running! Thanks so much for the help!
