STECS bootloader issue

Postby catchakill » Mon Sep 18, 2023 23:28

My brand new STECs (didn't even get to the point of trying it out), has been bricked by the bootloader. I get a CRC error when trying to flash the .VKB downloaded from the website and now the DevCfg software does not recognize it as a STECs device, simply as a zBoot nJoy32 device with no ability to interact with it at all. I've attached the .op1 file inside of a .rar to this post.

First of all there's absolutely no need to do anything other than programming detents on a brand new STECS - it's coming properly configured and calibrated. Second, the .op1 file is related only with a small percent of issues and doesn't apply here.
Unplug the device from USB and plug it back or click the Restart button in either VKBDevCfg or zBootloader. Please ask before committing to procedures like this, our Discord server is a great place with a nice and helpful community.
