Problem when updating firmware on BB MKIII of new Gunfigther IV.
Joined image shows the problem.
How may I correct this ?

So what I have to do ? Whom have I to ask for a solution ? Have Ito ask for a new black box ?

I have the same issue. Same error and no way to update..

Please run zbootloader, select your device, click the Start Boot button, then in the command line erase the Select File -> bit and instead write: save
Open the folder where zbootloader is and you'll find a file with extension .op1, zip it and attach it to a message here.

I succeed in updating 2.163 to 2.165 using latest version : _BlackBox_Mk3_Unified_v2_16_5_.vkb ---- downloaded today - 12 september 2023
Version of yesterday failed (as described above) : _BlackBox_Mk3_Unified_v2_16_5.vkb ---- downloaded yesterday - 11 september 2023

There was an initial 2.16.5 version which was wrong, but it's been replaced; so, if you managed to flash the one that's been published on NA website, you're good. Let me know if the issue reappears, but pretty sure your bb is fine at this point.

Need help with this as well. I have attached the .op1 file. Controller is no longer working at this point.

There's no attachment. Are you sure you have a MKIII Black Box?

Odd. I thought I attached it.

Here it is.

Additionally, whenever I try to flash the new firmware (Universal BB MK3) to the controller (MCG Ultimate Mk3 with the black BB) the stick disconnects from the system and does not accept the flash and doesn't reconnect. I have followed the YouTube video on the VKB channel and it won't complete successfully.

Let me know if there is anything more you need from me. Would like to get this firmware update completed successfully. That said, the controller is working on the 2.12 version now, so I'll just continue using it as such.

That doesn't look like MKIII, flash the MKII firmware please.

Was on vacation the last week.

I have tried that before and I just tried the MK 2 flash again and it failed.

Suggestions?
