I tried updating the firmware on my SEM and seem to have bricked it to the point that it was unresponsive to being plugged/unplugged and unrecognized.

I followed the advice on this thread: viewtopic.php?t=6934

and was able to get the device recognized by the bootloader, and attempted to flash the _GNX_USB_Controller_v2_16_0.vkb file onto and recieved the following error message



What can I do to get it back up and running?

I am also having this issue after attempting to update to the new 2.16 firmware
I shorted the boot jumper outlined in this post - viewtopic.php?f=27&t=3718&p=36257&hilit=short+short+jumper#p36257
I was trying to get my left stick to be recognized as left (which I just read is a setting in VKBDevCfg-C...)

ZBootloader2 freezes during flashing and also displays numerous "Error read data" errors
I have had no issues in the past flashing the bootloader.

Also had this happen today. Would really appreciate a solution.

Try flashing using the zBootloader 2.01.

Thanks, Fallout. I posted a new thread with more details to my situation. I cannot flash. Only file it will allow is - GNX_USB_Controller. Flashing with that was what got me in trouble in the first place. Hopefully you find my other thread and can assist.
