Issues with A1 stick on Gladiator NXT

I apoligize, but this is my first time ever using joysticks so this could be an easy fix. I have had an issue the past 2 days where if i press A1 upwards it does what the downward binding is. Pressing A1 down does the correct thing, so they aren't inverted. I did some initial investigating and using the vkb software I am able to find the problem, but i am unsure how to fix it. Using the settings tab in the VKB software i can see that when pressing the A1 stick upwards gently, it works correctly. But once it is all the way up there is a slight click and it then registers are if i were moving it down instead of up (i hope that makes sense). anyone know how i can fix this?

Run a new calibration, like here (from the timestamp). While calibrating the A1 ministick make sure you're in axes mode (round red light at the top is on.
