[SOLVED] After flash Gladiator Evo OT the "omni throttle" part is missing

Postby Nimble2878 » Sat Jun 10, 2023 22:58

Hi forum,

i just flashed firmware 2.14.a on my Gladiator EVO Omni Throttle (left hand) and noticed one difference:

Befor it was shown as Gladiator EVO OT L, but after the firmware flash the "OT" part is missing,
I used the firmware file "_Gladiator_EVO_OTA_v2_14_A.vkb"
If i revert firmware back to 2.12 it is shown as OT Vérsion again, then flash with 2.14.a the "OT" ist missing again.

It works in Devcfg, i just want to know if this is a firmware problem or if i should revert to 2.12?

Seems like the label is wrong in 14A. Use the attached one instead.

Thank you for the fast response!

I flashed the provided 2.14C, everything back to normal.

Before (2.14A):

Code: Select all

Product Name:  VKBsim Gladiator EVO L
PRO version
T-Link  supported
Firmware version:  v2.14A

After (2.14C):

Code: Select all

Product Name:  VKBsim Gladiator EVO OT L
PRO version
T-Link  supported
Firmware version:  v2.14C

It seems this was just a cosmetic problem.

Regards
