Base: Gunfighter mk3 with Black Box mk2
Grip: MCG Ultimate Twist
VKBDevCfg: v0.92.79 ( NJoy32 firmware v2.14.A )
ZBootloader: Not 100% sure? Pulled the latest from the download page, which says v2.1. However, the properties on the executable say 2.0.0.0 and the application itself says "N-Bootloader for NJoy32 platform v2.01"

I was able to flash this configuration previously to bring it up to 2.118, and had no issues at that time. I have since downloaded all the latest utilities and firmware, and I'm trying to flash _BB_Mk2_GunFighter_MCG_Ultimate_Twist_v2_14_A.vkb. N-Bootloader detects the boot device VKB Boot NJoy32 platform, but attempting to flash returns:



I have a second stick and base (same Gunfighter mk3 with Black Box mk2, but with SCG Premium left-hand on an Omni throttle adapter) that was also at v2.118, and I was able to successfully flash it with _BB_Mk2_GunFighter_SCG_L_v2_14_A.vkb, so I think that overall my process is correct. Am I missing something about the firmware version for the MCG Ultimate Twist?

Try reflashing without the grip on the base.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm receiving the same error when attempting to flash without the grip installed. Here are the steps I took (with only the problematic base plugged in):

1. Shut down the PC
2. Remove the grip
3. Start PC back up
4. Launch VKBDevCfg as administrator
5. Put device into bootloader mode
6. Attempt to flash _BB_Mk2_GunFighter_MCG_Ultimate_Twist_v2_14_A.vkb
7. Receive same error that device signature is not correct

Install the SCG on this base+bb combo and try to flash the right firmware. If it still doesn't work, close VKBDevCfg, run zBootloader as Admin and in the command line write: save. Check then the folder where zBootloader is located and you'll find a new file in there, with the extension .op1 - zip that file and attach it here please.

Got the same "device signature not correct" error with the SCG-L grip on this base+bb combo. I tried both _BB_Mk2_GunFighter_MCG_Ultimate_Twist_v2_14_A.vkb and _BB_Mk2_GunFighter_SCG_L_v2_14_A.vkb just in case, but same result both times.

.op1 zip file attached. Should it matter, this save was done with the SCG-L grip still mounted.

Unzip the attached file in the same folder with zBootloader, then put the joystick into bootloader mode through zBootloader and type load in the command line.
Let me know of the results please.

Success! Loading the option file then allowed me to flash _BB_Mk2_GunFighter_MCG_Ultimate_v2_14_A.vkb. Thanks for the help!
