After installing and flashing the GNX USB Controller with an SEM + FSM-GA attached, the device is no longer recognized by the software or computer. The blue LED quickly flickers when the USB is connected to a port.
If the USB controller is connected to the computer without the SEM or FSM-GA connected, the software will recognize the controller and shows the latest firmware (2.14A).
Does anyone know of a solution?

Re: GNX SEM + FSM not recognized
Modules were connect with USB-C cable to JST.
If the usb controller is disconnected from the module, the PC recognizes it; otherwise, if connected to the SEM via the 4-pin or JST connector, it won't show up.

Re: GNX SEM + FSM not recognized
So SEM carries the controller and the JST end of cable is plugged into the SEM and connected to FSM's bus by the USB C end, right?
Try other plug inside the SEM.

No change, computer doesn't recognize the device. It'll only show up when in boot mode and disappear after firmware is flashed.

Re: GNX SEM + FSM not recognized
Hold in short those 2 pins on the back of the controller with a small screwdriver and plug it to USB.
If still doesn't work flash the attached firmware, it's more stable for the modules.

Re: GNX SEM + FSM not recognized
Thank you for confirmation. We're trying to find the bug, would you mind sharing some info on your computer: specifications, what other USB devices are plugged, what software is running in the background? Would really help us to understand and correct the issue, considering that only a small percent of users encounter this problem.
Re: GNX SEM + FSM not recognized
Hello, I'm joining the conversation because I've been having Windows recognition problems with my "GNX DUAL THQ + SEM + FSM-GA COMBO".
I followed the instructions in the YouTube video and took the opportunity to update "_GNX_USB_Controller_v2_16" via Bootloader. No particular problems on the first day, and I was even able to configure the keys on MSFS.
However, on the second day, the NXT Throttle Combos was no longer recognized by Windows. When I connected the device, a brief blue light appeared for 1/2 second.
No device detected, neither in Windows, nor in VKBDevCfg-C, even in Safe Mode.
By disassembling the device element by element, I was able to reveal two GNX-THQ modules in VKBDevCfg. But as soon as I reconnected another FSM-GA module or the SEM, I had nothing left in VKBDevCfg.
After several attempts and research on your forum, I was able to flash the firmware with the version "_GNX_USB_Controller_v2_10_8" and miraculously, I was able to use my NXT Throttle Combos again.
So there is a problem with firmware version 2.16.
If it helps, here's my configuration:
Windows 11 22H2 up to date
AMD Ryzen 7 5800x (Chipset v.08.02.027)
16GB RAM
AMD RADEON RX 6700 XT
USB: Corsair keyboard and mouse, Logitech G13
