The proper firmware is of this format: _Gladiator_EVO_vx_xx.vkb. But your joystick being new, there's no need to reflash, just calibrate it:
- run VKBDevCfg as Admin, select this device at the top, then press the Default button under the Tools tab;
- after the device restarts you'll get a popup asking you to configure, click Yes;
- after another restart click the Start Calibr button, move all the axes (pitch, roll, twist, minithrottle) and when done click the End Calibr button.

The RotZ axis is the twist, should work after defaulting the joystick, then calibrating it.

I did everything like you said, but twist is still not working. Are there other things I can check?

You probably flashed to the latest firmware version, _Gladiator_EVO_v2_14A.vkb, but there's a bug in that; you'll have to manually apply these changes:

1. on the Global/External panel set up the Device as KG12 Twist from the roll down menu;
2. Set the Axis #1 as V_MaRS X with 1/3 and Axis #2 as V_MaRS Y with 1/3;
3. Click Set button and after restart calibrate.

Yes, of course:

In the Profile/Buttons/Physical Layer panel click mouse on the blue cell, then in the new window pull the roll down menu and set it as Button instead of uStick Switch, then press Set.

This driver has really amazing functionallity. I need just more time to learn it. I'll read manual tomorrow. I need to understand how to configure pinky lever like modifier = double amount of buttons (if I hold it).

Try to program that button to Tempo, so you could use the short press as a regular button and the long press as a Shift.
Also check the latest version of the software manual, our YT channel which has all kind of guides and join our official Discord server to share or ask advice.

Good morning
One question..
I v bought this stick also since last week
Yesterday I assembled the stick, than connected to the pc and the PC recognized directally the stick and try in IL2 GB setting main axes and buttons of the stick.
All seems to me works fine

So my question is:

If all work in IL2...I don t need to download from VKb site any firmware and make a calibration with VKB program right?

Many thanks

If it works - do not hinder to do it)))
VKB SW is powerful. But hard enough. Try it if joystick malfunctioned or if you want to use extra features of it.
