I have my Gunfighter with MCG Pro setup how I like it finally (t-rudders included) I've just updated the new vkbdev but considered, do I need to update the stick firmware?
can I leave it as is?
if I do update, can I simply load my saved config from earlier or am I looking at re-creating it?

If you're loading an older profile and not need the features of the latest firmware, than there's no need to reflash. I would suggest though that after loading the previous profile, to recalibrate. Loading a profile overwrites your calibration and you need to refresh that from time to time, especially if you change cams and springs or adjust dampeners.
