Changing grips without flashing?

Hi All,

I have just received my GF MK3 WW2 Edition and SCG add-on, and have installed the latest bootloader, firmware, and configurator from Alex's mega directory.

I was under the impression that I could change grips without having to flash the BB and calibrate again, but I can't work out how.

If this is a feature, would anyone be able to walk me through the process of swapping from one grip to the other with the software?

Many Thanks in advance

The thing is the stick is part of a modular system. It uses a specific firmware for a specific combination of base and grip. If you downloaded a firmware zip file, once extracted you see all the different firmwares for all those different combos. You have to flash the firmware for the specific grip, MCG-Pro, K12, SCG, twist or not, etc., that you have plugged into the gunfighter base. There's even firmwares for the different marks of Blackbox. A Mk.I won't work on a Mk.II. Otherwise, the configurator doesn't know what it's supposed to be configuring!

The short of it is if you're going to be changing grips, you'll have to flash and calibrate each time you do with the correct firmware for what you're using as there isn't a universal firmware for everything.

Hope this helps.
