Hi,
So I opened the box, assembled the stick. Your ad copy has said the software is preinstalled. SO I opened up War Thunder, Selected Nxt gladiator from their list of sticks and ....Nothing. Nothing works.
I watched the quick start video and it shows how to run the config screen. ....Except I dont know where to get the config screen. None of the materials I have, nor your video show me how to get to that screen.
Do I have to go somewhere on the net and download something????

Re: New NXT purchase and problem
You'll need VKBdevCfg, then to follow these few steps. You might also need to bind it in game too.
Re: New NXT purchase and problem
I ran the config. the window opened but the window where you are supposed to select the device is empty. So, I cannot select my device and can't go farther.
Okay. managed to get the device listed in the window under tools tab but it pops up "device needs to be config" and there is no button showing "find and auto config" on lower parrt of screen as there is in your video.
OK. found "F and C" .. went to "test" and clicked on start config but nothing happened
I press "start caliber" and I dont get the "partial calibration box"
Ok. Now it says ready to fly. Will test.
what does "make a registry file " do?

Re: New NXT purchase and problem
Hi.
OK. Got through all the steps in the video.
Went to the game and nothing works. So I started manually assigning buttons and axes. I can't fly the plane at all. It will go left and bank left, but it always flies banked and I can't straighten it out. eventually it goes upside down and crashes...this takes about 15 seconds of flight.
even though, the game calibration screen shows the stick to be moving left and right with the stick, the inputs don't seem to be getting to the game

Re: New NXT purchase and problem
when flying if I rudder right 5 deg and release handle plane moves continually to right.
ditto if I rudder left 5 deg it will continue to left.
If I try hard to center it manually, it will fly straight hands off controll stick
Also, I am finding i have to "invert" the control functions on roll, pitch, yaw and throttle (using Thrustmaster stand alone throttle)
