hello,
I have the THQ with ww2 throttle connected to the Gladiator NXT EVO and I can't get any of the buttons to work on the ww2 throttle, the buttons(41-48) on the THQ work fine. I've updated the firmware v2.115 so I'm not sure what I'm missing..

Re: ww2 throttle
In order to get the buttons on the German throttle grip to work you'll have to set the THQ on Sub4. Do the following:
- unplug the joystick from USB;
- plug the joystick to USB while holding the C1 and C2 buttons on the THW pressed;
- release the 2 buttons a few seconds after reconnecting to USB;
- press the A4 button on the THQ, then disconnect the joystick from USB;
- plug back the joystick to USB, then press the Default button under the Tools tab;
- navigate to the Global/External/External Devices tab and press the Find&AutoConfig button;
- after the joystick restarts press the Start Calibr button, move the joystick along all axes pitch, roll, twist, mini-throttle, ministick (press the center button of the ministick to get it in axes mode, then move it all around a few times when the red LED turns on);
- calibrate the THQ too, move both the German throttle and the other axis lever through their whole range;
- press End Calibr when done and check the buttons in tester.

Re: ww2 throttle
Hello,
I have the same issue and I went through all of the steps described above with no result.
My THQ is on Sub 4.
I pressed Default, then Find&AutoConfig, then calibrated - buttons on the wwii grip still don't work (I used the latest VKB Device Config tool and VKB button tester tool to verify). Buttons on the THQ itself do work.
Upgrading the firmware did not help. Double-checked that all wires are properly connected, plugged everything out and back in, restarted everything and repeated the whole process again - no result.
By the way, I noticed that in your set-up youtube video (https://youtu.be/uo5zh6jj43U?t=296) there are 2 axis shown during calibration, but I still have 3:
Not sure if this is relevant, but just in case it helps somehow.
Please help.

Re: ww2 throttle
The firmware on your THQ is too old, please follow these steps to upgrade:
- delete all VKB files from your hard drive;
- download VKBDevCfg, zBootloader and the firmware package file;
- unzip them all 3 in the same, dedicated folder;
- from the firmware package file keep only the file called /Gladiator_NXT_series/_GNX_USB_Controller_v2_11_5.vkb; the other files you can delete;
- run zBootloader, select your THQ from the lower half of the window and press the Start Boot button;
- select the bootloader from the lower part of the window;
- press the ... button, navigate to the folder with the firmware file _GNX_USB_Controller_v2_11_5.vkb and load it up;
- press the Flash It! button;
- after the zBootloader quits run VKBDevCfg and press the Default button under Tools tab;
Now you could follow the instructions above in order to set up your THQ for the German throttle combination.

Re: ww2 throttle
Thank you for the reply.
I followed the steps above and upgraded my THQ firmware to v2.115 and then went through the process described above once again. After updating the firmware the behaiviour is slightly different. After pressing Default button, the THQ module LED light goes dark, then lights up blue again after ~1 second and Find&AutoConfig button does not show up in the VKBDevCfg.
Unfortunately, the update did not help. The situation is still the same - buttons on the grip don't work, everything else does.
I really hope that there is another solution

Re: ww2 throttle
Additionally, I checked the wires inside the wwii grip and they are properly and firmly connected to the socket. The wires don't look damaged, so I hope this is not a physical issue.

Re: ww2 throttle
Try running VKBDevCfg as Admin. Alternatively, try another mobo port and restarting Windows in Safe Mode.

Re: ww2 throttle
Remove the bottom plate and show the THQ connection to the GNX. Your screenshots show two separate devices, although in the first message there is only one, the correct one.
Re: ww2 throttle
Sorry, I forgot to mention that my THQ module is separate. It is not connected to the Gladiator NXT module. However, the issue with the buttons is the same as for the original topic starter - the wwii grip buttons don't work.
Tried the advices above with the admin and another port with the safe mode - did not help.

Re: ww2 throttle
Removed the bottom plate and removed the board of the THQ. Here is the photo with the grip connected:
Earlier today I removed the cover from the grip handle and checked the connection there. Photo attached:
Both connectors seem fine, no wires falling out, everything is sitting in place.

Re: ww2 throttle
Hello,
Could you please confirm that there is no solution available and I may return the device to get my money back? Thank you.
