Ron, thank you. It got so bad that even the mcg pro wouldn' t react anymore.
By disconnecting the bb2 i could flash the firmware vor my mcg pro.
I am not going to use the f18 and the adapter.
It scares me.
So there will be a cheap stick for someone who wants it on the internet.
this is to complicated for my. I guess i am an analog guy. thank you very mucht for saving my mcg pro!!!

Believe me, there is nothing complicated and dangerous in the firmware process. You just need to strictly follow some rules to achieve the result.

Is there a way to reset everything to factory settings?
Because now it's all gone to waiste. the gunfighter is green, then gets red, and in the game is doesn't work. Then engages and then not...

Show screenshots of the settings from the configurator, it will be better than any words.
To reset to factory settings, there is a Default button in the configurator. After the reset, you will need to re-calibrate everything (and the trigger, metal, do not forget).

I see that the firmware was successful, now you need to reset the settings to Default (button in the configurator) and calibrate the axes. Without this, nothing will work properly.
But before calibrating, you need to check the communication of the MCG with the controller. This can be seen in the Test-External Devices tab - there both the bases and the handle should be with green communication scales. If this is not the case, (and most likely this is exactly the case, since the 2nd Led on BB blinks). It should be with the above tab open, release the crackers on the handle and gently turn it a little. As soon as the scale turns green, clamp the crackers.
You may need to do this with an extension.

I tried it. Keeps asking for calibration. Looked at the video about calibration. followed that lead.
Is says in the configurator Err-stat active. Used another bB2 from my t-rudder.
Same result.
Then I took it apart, and mounted the TM18 grip. opened zbootloader as admin. loaded the software.
after the flash, the configurator opened. I was asked to calibrate. I hit calibrate , moved stick and then end calibrate. Same thing, "Err-stat active " in the configurator right upper corner beneith the xbox controller pictogram.
Maybe I can send it to vkb Europe before I drive everyone nuts with my incompetance.
Thx for trying man!!

Hit the Default button under the Tools tab just before calibration. When ending calibration make sure you press the End Calibr button and not the Cancel Calibr one. If it still doesn't work try the same on another computer, as a background program on your computer might interfere with our software.
The ErrStat Active message is normal, just ignore it.

Check the connections - grip to extension and extension to base. If one of them is not seated properly it will break contact and you'd lose the grip buttons. Also, make sure both the fasteners on grip to extension and extension to base are really well tightened, so the elements won't move during playing.
