When I plug the joystick in the red and white leds illuminate for about 1 - 2 seconds and go out. There are no lights on after that and the joystick does not function in either Linux or Windows 10/11.

Is it possible to purchase replacement (internal) boards for the Joystick?

Open up and check on the cable connecting the grip with the joystick.

Both cables are securely connected.

Could the cable have come loose inside the joystick grip itself?

Try plugging directly into mobo. Are the LEDs on the base on?
Post a pic with the internals please.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is what I have tried:

1. Plugged into different USB hubs I have powered and un-powered.

2. Plugged into all the different USB ports on my motherboard (Asus Tuf X570 Wifi)

3. Purchased a new USB cable as well as trying 1 other spare USB cable.

In all cases the result is the same: The red and white LEDS at the top of the joystick light up for a second or so and the go out. No other LEDS on the grip or the base light up.

Is the device visible in the configurator?
If it is not visible, try disconnecting the loop of the grip and the sensor, one by one, with a check in the configurator.

I have the exact same problem. Any solution to this? Or do I need to send it back? (3 days old)

Need answers to the questions posed, otherwise nothing.

* disconnecting the grip/sensor, nothing helps, device is not recognized by windows/USB

It's going back for a refund
