Grip & Base mount holes dont line up
I just got a NXT Premium Right Space Combat Grip and NXT base. The three holes on the bottom of the stick do not line up with the holes on the base. I can't turn the stick at all once it's inserted and only seems to go in in one position. It's unclear in the video if this is supposed to be how it is as the angle doesn't show it. I don't want to keep yanking the stick out and trying to jam it in. Can you send a photo of what the mounted stick looks like.

If the 3 holes in the base don't match the 3 holes in the grip it means the grip is not in proper position. Check out this installation guide. Make sure that after the grip is in position you'll press on it so it would go all inside the base. Watch out for the wires, use the sleeve as in the video above.

Apparently your grips are resistant, but not quite "idiot-proof" because I was stumped for almost 30 minutes.
i figured it out. had the stick in backwards from the base. I was hoping something screwed up and the topic wouldn't get posted.
Nice first post. Great stick, loving it so far and feel much better on my hand than the t.16000 i upgraded from.

probably not the last question but is there a way to press "Button 2" (Second stage trigger) without pressing "Button 1" (Trigger)?

Yes, program button 1 as ButtonD dependable on button 2 and click Set to save.
