VKB-SIM

Just received my Gladiator and THQ.. I am trying to follow the instructions on connecting them together.... The official VKB video shows connecting a 3 wire JST to a 4 wire JST.. My Gladiator only has one 3 wire JST connector, but that is taken up by the cable from the joystick. There is a 4 wire JST next to it, but no 3 wire.

How do I connect these together... vs using a USB HID for the THQ?

OK; I'm confused... your photo shows 2 connections to the Gladiator NXT EVO.. I thought I took 1 JST wire and connected to the THQ, and the other end to the NXT EVO.

Attached is my EVO and THQ.. (ignore that I have the USB HID in there). trying to connect them as 1 unit)

Just use the JST connector position for the socket you need, no need to have them both used. For your setup just plug the JST connector into the adjacent pins to the grip connector and leave the farther one empty.

So use the 4 pin to 3 pin cable... Put the 4 pin on the THQ side and the 3 pin on the NXT/EVO side?

That's right; with the module in the same position as shown in your pic plug the 3 pin connector in the 4 pin socket so it would fit the first 3 pins closer to the socket where the grip cable plugs in the same board. Leave the pin farther from the socket where the grip cable plugs into the board empty.
