Does anyone know how I might go about troubleshooting this? Just started happening. Axis's all work, but none of the buttons do. I already upgraded software/firmware to latest and that did not help.

Not related, but you should update your software version too, here's the latest one.
Your issue shows up because the grip doesn't make proper contact with the base. Please release the fastener a bit, so the grip could move, then press gently on the grip while tightening the fastener. Just don't press to hard on it, but tighten the fastener really good.

Yep that was it. It was actually at the base of the extension. Thanks very much for the quick reply!
