I own VKB T-Rudder Pedals Mk.IV. I currently use it with Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog.

I'm looking for a way to have permanently enable multiple axes:

A) default axis for RUDDER (where left pedal is 0 - center position is 50% - right pedal is 100%)

B) axis for left pedal (than goes from 0 to 100%)

C) axis for right pedal (than goes from 0 to 100%)

I'd like to have axes A, B and C permanently enabled. So for example if I press on left pedal this affects axis A and B at the same time (without any modifier buttons).

Thanks. But if I understand the manual correctly - in all BrakeV modes I have to use some button to enable all axes. And I can do it only if I own other VKB device (since I need buttons) or by using T-Link software, right?

Is there a way to have all three axes permanently enabled without using any buttons? I will use modifiers in DCS to bind them.

I want to configure in DCS like this:

1) use AXIS 1 as rudder axis
2) use AXIS 2 AND/OR AXIS 3 as wheel brakes axis (both brakes at the time) with modifier button X
3) use AXIS 2 as left wheel brake axis with modifier button Y
4) use AXIS 3 as right wheel brake axis with modifier button Y

To do that I need all three axes to be working all the time.

However, bad news is that currently I cannot use these axes in DCS as I intended. It's just how modifiers work for axes:

Unless they change it, I'll have to look for some other solution...

Have you tried TM buttons to use with T-Link? Try if not.

I tested it. It doesn't work like I need. When I press the Brake Source Button - this means brakes go to 100% and using pedals decreases the input for each brake. Different VBrake profiles only change how responsive T-Link output is. And if I invert axes in VKB profile manager, brakes will be active all the time...

Maybe using Joystick Gremlin or Universal Control Remapper (with vJoy) could solve it but I'm not sure yet.

Axes inversion?

Axes inversion was not a solution for me, because it's just how T-Link work. With normal axes when I press the Brake Source Button, brakes go to 100%. If I invert axes, brakes will go to 100% if I release the Brake Source Button. I have no idea if this is T-Link working as intended or is it broken just for me.

However, I was able to set everything up with help of Joystick Gremlin and vJoy plugin.

The solution is to create multiple modes in Joystick Gremlin and use temporary mode switches. In this way I can switch to split axis as long as I hold the mode switch button (on Warthog Throttle in my case) and after I release it - I'm back to regular (full axis) rudder input. Thanks to this I'm able to assign VKB T-Rudder (via vJoy output) like this:

1) vJoy axis RX - regular rudder/NWS input (Gremlin mode 1)

2) vJoy axes RY and RZ - dual brake axis input (I can use left or right pedal for it) - with modifier A (Gremlin mode 2)

3) vJoy slider 1 and 2 - left / right brake axis input with use of left / right pedal - with modifier B (Gremlin mode 3)

I tested it in DCS and IL2 BOS and it works like intended. IL2 BOS is a little problematic to bind vJoy axes, as I had to use this:

to hide VKB (physical axis) and Warthog Throttle (modifier buttons) - only during binding of the axes in IL2. In DCS it's not problematic since you can select axes from the list.
