joy.cpl axis not moving + whitespace in name?

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to setup my MCGU+Gunfighter to work on VTOLVR, and while doing so, I have noticed two things.
First, the name of the controller in the list is odd and seems to contain extra white spaces, notably as the first letter. Can VKB confirm what the actual name registered is?

Also, https://imgur.com/a/7fputgm here is a picture of my joystick held full left. The X indicating the position is correct, the axis bar barely moved, is that an error?
