Error in lastest firmware for GNX modules with USB - GNX_USB_Controller_v2_11_5.vkb

I've seen the same behavior with the new firmware with my THQ with the stand alone USB controller.

After resetting to default sometimes it takes several tries of pressing Find and Autoconfigure for it to take.

Then sometimes the message that you need to calibrate comes back up after going through the calibration. Profile > Axes screen indeed shows that's it's not calibrated.

And sometimes if I make a config change and press Set it pops up a message that says there is no change to data nothing written.

One other thing I should mention is that I've stopped trying to get this firmware to work since my THQ sometimes isn't recognized by windows even though the power led is on when I turn it on with the power switch on my USB hub http://sabrent.com/products/hb-b7c3 but will always work if I unplug and plug it in. I wonder if all these issues are some firmware initialization bug.

So basically you could replicate all the issues @takeoverraider has. Which firmware was that you were previously on without these issues?

I was using the previous official version 2.09 (shows as 2.088 for the USB controller)

My software and hardware was working fine until I updated with your current latest config and firmware v2.11.5. As I am in Australia I was previously using VKB_Australia latest downloads v2.09 which i think were dated about december 2021.

I have a brand new high spec Dell laptop running windows 11.
I do not have any of the software you mentioned running on my computer or anything like it (other than NVidia graphics card/software -pre-intalled).
My hardware is plugged in directly to my computer.
I have always run config as administrator.
I have also run with your software as an exclusion to microsoft virus protection and defender.
I have rebooted in safe mode, but your config software when it loads takes up more than the screen size and I cant get to the bottom tabs to test again in this mode. So wasnt able to complete this.

I purchased all your extension modules, FSM-GA, 2x THQ, and SEM, to run MSFS 2020 but if I can not reprogram buttons or LEDS then they are virtually useless for my means. I will have to put all my VKB hardware in storage until there is a fix.

I am 100% certain there is a glitch with your software as it intermittently will not always show "find and config" after pressing "default" button and many times goes into a circular problem when trying to calibrate as it repeatedly says calibrate controller, after "end calibration" has been executed. Despite this after about 50 times without exaggeration trying to install I have managed to overcome these problems, but now finally it wont recognise any changes I make to LEDs or buttons and keeps on responding with "no new data" when trying to "set" the changes into the device. Also test confirms that no changes are occurring when I make changes to buttons and LEDS, despite the table register correctly displaying my intended changes, but then they dissappper when i hit "set" and the config software hangs and doesnt show my devices any longer. I am soooooooo frustrated. Ive been working on this for 3 full days now. Please Please HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have another wild thought, given someone else in Australia has the same problem. Is there any remote possibility that the hardware in Australia may be slightly differently manufactured to that supplied in other parts of the world and your testing is not picking up our problems? Co-incidently, their software was working fine like mine with the old 2.09 firmware, until we upgraded to v2 11.5.

@patrick1978 Issue was fixed by flashing firmware ver 2.110, attached. Let me know please if you'll find out more on this, as the issue is hard to replicate.

I tried that firmware. Went through the whole Default, Find & Config, Calibrate, change a setting and Set dance 4 times and it worked perfectly every time.

Also to test the other issue I had with 2.11.5, I rebooted my computer with the THQ powered off via my USB hub and turned it one after I got into windows and it was recognized. That was also a seemingly sporadic issue so I'll keep an eye on it and report back if it crops up again.

A Big Thankyou to "fallout9" from VKB_Sim admin technical support, did a brilliant job of fixing my issue with older firmware xxx v2-11_0.vkb. This firmware appears to work 100% consistently, with absolutely no bugs for both Gladiator NXT and all GNX USB controller modules.

I was having the same issues.
I was running v2.115 on my THQ-SEM combo and had inconsistent "Find & Config" button, along with constant "Need to Calibrate" pop-up.
Closing background apps made no difference.
The only fix that worked was downgrading firmware to v2.110, so my guess is there's a bug in firmware 2.115 for some setups.
