Gladiator NXT L SEM THQ XT2 Won't properly set parameters

So when trying to change any button parameters on my left stick, as soon as I click set it disconnects and re connects and a NXT R without my modules. Idk if i wired something wrong or just got a bad board that won't let me change stuff. If anyone has any info or way to fix this I would greatly appreciate it.

Need more details about what you're trying to do, what buttons you're changing, what buttons are you pressing.

I was following the tutorial on how to setup landing gear on the SEM for Star citizen, when I hit set it changed to a right stick and the modules don't turn on. I've got the latest firmware and vkbdevcfg.

Makes sure that before setting up SEM's axes you're properly set up with the whole unit, like
here.

Had the same problem. Solved by following the setup video.
