I ask for a friend....
....because I haven't found any info on this myself in a hurry. And namely there is the problem with this one other manufacturer that Windows makes problems because more than 32 buttons are available! How would it be if one would put together a NXT combi from 2 or more modules. Since there should then certainly be 32+ switches....would it then still be recognized as 1 input device? With the Gunfighter everything runs over the black box. I guess that there are no problems for this reason. But how is that with the NXT series???

Actually Windows allows 128 buttons and 8 axes per independent device. Some games have limitations lower than that though, like E:D 32 buttons per device and Il-2 66 buttons per device.
VKB native software automatically splits into several virtual devices a joystick that would exceed Windows' limitations.
