I think my black box died. Have been using the stick for 2 years now. Initially, when I had this issue, it was always the stick not being tightened. After tightening everything, everything was fine for 1.5-2 years.

What just started now is some buttons randomly stopped working once in a while. After unplugging it and re-plugging it, it came back to normal.

I disconnected the joystick and my rudder pedals, and the box is still blinking RED. How do I troubleshoot this?

Any help is much appreciated.

So, when I connected the stick back and push the stick all the way to the right, light turns green. Should I take it apart and reconnect the stick?

If nothing is connected to the Black Box, blinking red light on of the LED is a default behavior.

Thanks. I did pull the stick out and put it back in. It got fixed.

Question though: I do see some indentation on the connector plate of the base from the 3 needles of the stick. Over time, would they not get lose? Do you or anyone know what the proper way of maintaining it would be? Should I keep spare parts around in case?
