THQ Throttle physical movement different in game

Postby CharlySeven » Mon May 30, 2022 19:14

Hello,
This is my first post. I've tried many times to calibrate the THQ throttle but it moves always physically desynchronized on relation to the POSITION of the throttle on the game.

% of movement
% % % %
Throttle 1 and 2: Physically 0 0 ------- in Game 0 0
Throttle 1 and 2: Physically 30 30 ------- in Game 30 20
Throttle 1 and 2: Physically 50 50 ------- in Game 50 40
Throttle 1 and 2: Physically 70 70 ------- in Game 70 60
Throttle 1 and 2: Physically 100 100 ------- in Game 100 100

Throttle 2 is always moving behind Throttle 1.
They only coincide at 0% and 100%.
In between they move desynchronized.

Hope to hear a solution because the throttle handling is totally imprecise.

Thank You
Carlos Zegarra

Show screenshots from the JoyTester program when moving the lever with two axes and the Profile-Axes tab from the configurator.

Need another screenshot, 9th axis - switch to the second virtual controller (VC2) (the switch is under the "Make Reg File" button).

You can try another method:
1. swap the 7th axis with the 9th one (the extreme ones on the module) - this will allow us to simultaneously observe both graphs in Joytester when moving the double lever

2. activate the ACn checkboxes for the axes of the lever - and now, before calibrating, it will need to be set to the center position, and not to the beginning
3. calibrate these axes again (three per THQ)

Hello,
What you mean with "Swap", both boxes show a number 1, do I change those numbers for what number?

And, where are the ACn checkboxes?
Thanks

This means you need to change the numbers for Axis # 1 and Axis # 3 between themselves. Those. should become 2-1, 1-8, 1-7 and the extreme axes will change places. The ACn checkbox is in Profile-Axes-Physical Axes (your first screen).

Well, thank you. It turned out that now the "big" difference in synchronization has become a "small" one, mostly from the middle position to full.
Thank you for your help.
