I'm trying to setup the POV1 to trigger a button press when I hold the tempo down to switch to analog mode on my MCGU

I read the manual and can get it to do a short press OR long press tempoB. Is it possible to do short press Button OR long press TempoB + Button?

Basically when I change the mode of the POV to analog I want the sim to know I've done that.

Just a suggestion (not in front of the pc right now)
What if you copy the physical button to an another one?
Leave the current switch as is.
Boolean tab, set up NOT. Input -> physical layer povswitch number. Output -> The new button you want. (All is non inverting)
This way you duplicated the behavior of the button press.
On the new button, you can set up tempo as well and you can assign that to virtual buttons.
