Gunfighter III: ascending order of spring strength?

fallout9 has stated that the Gunfighter III spring numbers I was given (#10,#20A,#30A,#40A, #50A) are NOT additive. Two 20's does NOT equal one 40, one 20 plus one 30 does NOT equal one 50, and so on.
I am using one 50 on each axis at present.
Customers on this Forum have said the are using two 30's, other customers one 50 and one 10, one 40 and one 20 and so on. fallout9 has stated these are NOT the same.
I want to make smallest increment spring strength adjustments.
10,20,30,40,50, 50+10, 50+20,50+30,50+40,50+50 ?
But how can this be when fallout9 has stated one 20 plus one 30 is either less or greater force than one 50?
What is the correct order? Or perhaps the differences are so small as to be irrelevant and I should just use the sequence I stated?
I have searched this forum(s) and found no answer. I would think the correct order would be of interest to any customer changing springs.
Also, what does the A mean? All my springs have it, except for the 10.
