Which PCB are you replacing Antonio, the mainboard or the USB board (the long one)?

Hi fallout and thanks for replying! The issue is solved, after 1 hour I understood how to dismount the pcbs, I need to change both of them. It would not be bad to make a video or an image tutorial on how to disassemble pcbs, since they are sent home to be assembled as a guarantee. Thanks anyway!

There's actually a guide on that, so sorry you haven't been provided with a link; apologies about it. Anyway, glad to hear you've managed to get it fixed!

and please, what IS the link to the tutorial - because I also have to replace BOTH PCB and looking at the main one, I would really like to watch the guide (I was not provided one, I have asked in the ticket for one but unfortunately did not get a reply)

I think this might be helpful, not sure if it is the one fallout9 was talking about specifically.

thank you - but this just show how to remove the small PCB, not the main one.

For the main one you release the two screws holding the entire battery of lower/back buttons, rockers and the scroller

But this takes carefull study of every gap.

Unrelated and off-topic:
And naturally, now that I finally replaced the main PCB as well (the small one I already replaced way earlier) - my left VKB is currently dead... again... no boot whatsoever... no LEDs.. nothing.
Sigh.. (and seemingly I am not the only one who got a base with a strangely out of sync firmware version when ordering for a left, and that base then causing endless issues - for 6 months in my case) - bad luck, coincidence, surely.
But also a very unfortunate nuisance.

Sorry, the vid didn't show enough it was the only one I found in my quick search that might have shown it a bit.

That is a strange batch of bad luck.

Never heard of the out of sync firmware on left hand bases.
Unless I am just misunderstanding that there was a newer version available when you got yours.

Nnnahh.. just bad luck (because rogo can't have nice things, ever.. allegedly)
but also yes.. even by search in this ressource that shows up, so it does in the wider googlesphere.

The replacement PCB in my case was v2.111 as well (but that makes sense.. it is a batch-item after all)

Again, one can figure the disassembly out by oneself - it just requires being very attentive and really looking with a lens for any screws and gaps to not break anything...
for now the replacement is done, all screws are back in, everything is reseated - repeatedly.. and it only took 4 hours!!!
:)

Now time will tell if things finally work forever.. as ofc my left stick just "feels" a little less pristine.. because .. see above :)
