TM Grip with MK3 base and MK2 box: red light, soldering problem?

Hi,

maybe you can help me with this.

I ty to use a TM adapter from VKB, with a F18 grip, on a MK3 base with a MK2 blackbox.

Problem: the Red Light is flashing.

What I did so far to solve the problem:
- Cleaned all connectors
- Try to tighten it properly, but not too tight
- Made sure to have the correct alignment (2 contacts are pointing towards the cable interface)

What else could I do to manage a connection, so I am able to flash and configure the flight stick/base?

found the problem...

I thought flashing would only be possible if the stick is detected or the red light would go off....

The simple thing I had to do is to click onto the Blackbox 2 device in the VKB Device Config software, so the Bootloader option was available for selection. Before selecting the blackbox 2 in the upper field, the Bootloader field was grey and not functional.
