Two sticks listed in External Devices tab

Postby LukeFF » Tue Apr 12, 2022 4:48

Is this an issue at all, and/or can I remove the extra device? Long story short, I tried to flash my new Gunfighter KG 12 grip with the 2.09 firmware, but as that didn't work, I went to Alex Oz's website and downloaded the 2.105 firmware. That finally allowed me to use the buttons on the stick, but now the active stick on the External Devices tab is listed as "Gladiator Stick", while the KG 12 stick is listed as inactive. All 12 buttons on the grip are responsive.

I'd like to remove the redundant stick if possible. Thanks!

VKB Device Config software is 0.92.17.

Good thinking on getting the latest firmware. You don't have to worry about the ghost stick though, it won't interfere with normal use; that's normal for some devices, especially the ones with more versions.

Great, thanks! One other thing, just to be sure - the description of the grip says that it has an eight-way hat, but I only see buttons 4-7 register with the hat. Am I correct in understanding that "8-way" means that I can hold down two buttons at a time on the hat, e.g., buttons 4 and 5?

Yes, that will be adjusted in a future version of the firmware, where the HAT will be programmed as a 8 way POV.
