LED's on base continue to blink after calibration

Hi guys.
I’ve just installed an Omni throttle adaptor onto my Gladiator NXT L controller but now for the life of me I can’t figure out why the red and blue LED's on the base keep blinking (long blink blue and quick blink red) after calibration etc.
So I’m using the current VKBdevcfg software v0.92.17
I’ve flashed the controller with the latest firmware: Gladiator_NXT_2_09_0 using Zbootlader v2
Next I followed your guides on calibration.
(Side note: I’ve had no issues in the past with this controller or my Ultimate Gunfighter right stick.)
I can confirm that the controller now has the latest firmware:
VKBsim Gladiator NXT L XT v2.090
LED's on base still blinking as described above.
I click on ‘Default' button.
In Test tab BEFORE calibration I can see the axis all working fine.
I do a full calibration, then End calibration.
All buttons and axis seem to be working ok BUT the LED’s on base are still blinking.
I’ve gone through the process many times with the same result.
What’s happening here? Am I missing a step?
Thanks.
