Hello,

I need help.
I bought second-hand rudder pedals. It should be in perfect working condition...

When I try to connect them to computer I get this error.
Under Devices I see a Driver error message


I tried different USB ports, no luck. Tried on the laptop, got the same error.
Black box shows no light. Except one time... but don't know what I've done... I think it was VKBDevCfg-c.
At the time sys was blinking blue, also 1 and 2 were colored blue and red... Don't know the order
Also tried different USB cable..SYS blue, 1,2,3 all green, but in Windows I still get the same error. I remove new cable and inserted old one. No light. Inserted new cable again.. this time all light flashes and stay dark...


What else can I try?

Run VKBDevCfg and plug in the rudders, what device shows up in device list?

This is what I see... no devices.

In Device manager


In T-link software, flashing sign "Disconnected" is shown under pedals.

While writing this I looked again towards black box, and all lights are shown

Download, unzip and run the zBootloader. Unplug the Black Box, press the white button on the left side of it and plug it back to USB while still holding the button pressed. Release the button when you hear the USB connected sound. Post a screenshot with the zBootloader.

I'm new to VKB ecosystem... I got a mail from the seller, instructing me what to do. Basically the same as in your mail
I reset black box, flashed the right firmware and.. can't be happier.

Build quality and feel is really great. Love them! Time to fly!

I tried this solution but nothing happened.how can i open black box mk2 so as to do this procedure?

Don't, those instructions are for the orange Black Box. Better explain your issue.

The rudders don't work at all.Neither windows recognize them nor vkb software.first installation was ok. i updated them with zbootloader and afterwards nothing is working.i tried different usb ports and even another pc.no lights at black box and rudders not even recognised.

Unplug from USB, press and hold the white button on the Black Box, plug back to USB while still holding the button pressed, release the button after a few seconds, run zBootloader, take a screenshot and post it here.

gladiator nxt is working properly

Try the same as above with no rudders connected to BB.

The same with no rudders connected… the rudders are one week old.what is the procedure if the black box is dead?

Swap the USB cable with the Gladiator's.

The same …i also removed everything but black box’s usb but no luck

Could you describe what happened just before the LEDs died?
