VKB Config killed my pedals

So I followed the instructions by Coreyo in this post viewtopic.php?t=3597, and now my VKB devconfig WILL NOT recognize my pedals.

I set mine to the same as his in his pictures and clicked "set" and then it tweaked out and now it says "HID-compliant vendor-defined device" instead of t-rudders at the top

It also keeps popping up "error read CPUID" and

"Your use very old version. It's necessary to update the firmware of the controller"

Yes...that is a direct quote.

so. How do I fix this? All I did was try to set virtual axis and now the pedals won't even load in the config program?

I am using the latest VKB device config 0.92.217 and I already updated my pedal firmware when I bought them and they worked fine until this point.

Here is the picture I copied in my config program

Somehow this bricked my pedals. I just wanted to change the pedals to be two separate virtual axis so I could use them for two different inputs

Disconnect the rudders and restart VKBDevCfg.
But what device do you use together with the rudders, because if you're trying to replicate the link the guy has a Gladiator MKII.

Ty for reply. I managed to fix it by unplugging the black box and messing with the sys button (does that do anything?)

This time I could reset the rudders in config

I also was more careful in changing the settings and followed his guide more closely. I now have two virtual axis like he shows, and I am a happy flyer

Ty <3

p.s. I have two gladiator EVO's :)

Is there a way to run them all through the same black box? Do I need a special adapter?

The old Gladiator MKII had a connector so you could connect the rudders to it; the NXT and NXT EVO don't have the connector. So the only thing to have a button on any of the EVOs to turn the rudders into virtual toe brakes is this method.
