Gunfighter MkIII with SCG-L intermittent communication errors

Hello,

I just purchased a second Gunfighter MkIII with the SCG-L Premium Stick and I am getting intermittent communication errors with the stick itself. The red LED lights up and I am also seeing these in the VKB Device Config app (see screenshot). It seems that these occur mostly when I am moving the stick a lot, so I at first thought I had not attached it enough. I reattached it multiple times and applied really a lot of downward pressure to ensure it is properly seated. Device is fully calibrated. Already tried swapping the cable to the black box and switched USB ports, no change.

My first gunfighter (purchased a year ago) does not have any such problems. Is there anything else I could try?

Thanks!

Those short green blocks are perfectly fine. You should get tall yellow or red blocks if the connection grip to base is bad. Just to make sure the grip is properly seated release a bit the fastener, press the grip down the base and while still pressing tighten up the fastener really good.

I fear the problem is a bit bigger. I double checked and I definitely have the grip fastened properly. However, it seems that depending on the bending of the internal cables the problem can get bigger. I just had changed the springs to my preferred stiffness and after that I saw tall yellow and red blocks, which disappeared after reseating the cables in the base a bit (didn't do a screenshot unfortunately). I fear there is a loose connection somewhere. I already reseated all connectors that are reachable and still got these problems.

Seems to be working now, I also switched the CAMs and after putting everything together I no longer see any communication errors. Will monitor if it stays like that. Thanks for your help!
