I think the problem is that there are already 8 axes in the ultimate. and he was installing the firmware with a twist of the wrist. Don't worry about it, I just wanted to see where you're trying to get. So, if you have MCGU with twist and want to use the rudders and lock the twist do as follows:
1. Flash the no twist version on your MCGU (_BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_Ultimate_v2_09_0.vkb);
2. Plug the rudders in the same BB;
3. Click the Default button under Tools tab;
4. Calibrate the whole joystick: pitch and roll axes, any ministicks, secondary trigger, hand brake, rudders.
After that you'll get a fully functional unit with the rudders included (they won't show up in the device list though, but this is normal).
