I changed the springs today after receiving the device 2 weeks ago and reassembled. Everything is working as normal except the y-axis is dead.
Did the "default" reset,
Checked the magnet error but mine is not loose.
I checked each of the 4 wires connecting to the Y-axis - all 4 working
It 's just dead.

Run VKBDevCfg as Admin, press the Default button under Tools tab, then the Find&AutoConfig button under Global/External/ExternalDevices. Calibrate afterwards.

Check the connections inside again and see if there's any metal debris sticking to the magnet.

I also tried applying more pressure on the white connector while using the y-axis. Still no movement on the y-axis
Re: Gladiator NXT pro Y-axiz completely dead
I changed the value to 10 and pressed set.

So I found the problem. The connector I marked on your picture was the other way around. I remember it coming out with the pug and I placed it the other way around. Its working now thank you.
One other question- Can this devise work with USB3 without causing problems?
Thank you for your picture. It helped me a great deal.
