VKB Gladiator NXT - axis problem

Hello there,

my axis is not working correctly around the center anymore. Here is a video showing the problem.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5-gI4-aOx4

If released from the right, the stick does not return to center as you can see by the red dot in the video.

What can I do to fix this? I think there is not enough tension on the spring around the center position. I already changed the spring to a harder one with no effect.

That's not a proper tester, use this. Also, post an uncropped screenshot from VKBDevCfg showing the Profile/Axes/Logical and Physical Axes panels.

Thanks. Shoot with axis and panels attached. I see the same issue.

Download this, run it, navigate to Profile/Axes, make sure both Logical and Physical Axes panels are showing, take a screenshot, post it here.

You have not calibrated any axis. Show the Global-External tab.

I thought this was a physical problem. I calibrated the x axis and the stick returned to the same position in the cfg app. Si might be fixed. I will report back after using the stick more.

Thanks for the help!

But your device is still uncalibrated. It has an autocalibration feature, so it would work, but it's highly recommended to calibrate it properly, like here.
