Hello VKB Support,

I am running into issues with my MCS Pro V2 and Gunfighter MK3 base. I am sporadically getting a blinking red light on the blackbox. It seems to happen when the stick moves at extremes of movement. Remounting the joystick seems to work sometimes, but is sporadic. I have cleaned both the base and stick contacts with isopropyl alcohol which made a slight difference for a little bit but returned the next day. I am unsure of what the issue may be. When the stick works, it works great, then all of the sudden it stops and I get the red blinking light again. Do you have any suggestions?

Please post 2 pictures with the bottom of the grip, with the 3 pins in good light and focus and with the 3 contact pads on the top of the base stem, also in focus.

Press gently on the 3 pins with a pen, can you feel the springs on all 3?

I used a flat headed pick and all three pins in the joystick went down and sprung back up as expected

Something I just noticed, it appears that the stick does not fit flush on the locating pin on the base. If I push really hard down on the stick and tighten the grip fastener it will seat but moves back up once I apply some force to the stick
