VKB NXT Pro not working at all

Select the device in blue window (click mouse on it, make sure it's selected) and click the Default button. Post screenshot.

Click the Find&AutoConfig button now, that should fix it. Make sure the device is selected in the blue window!

It still doesnt work. Could this be part of the issue?

Are the 3 wires coming out of grip safe inside the base?

Yep. I have unplugged them and replugged them to make sure there were in good contact with the pins, is that something that could cause problems?

Check the wires where the grip plugs into the base, that's where usually they get damaged.

They seem to be alright. There's no apparent damage.

If the wires are fine, then start all over again: press Default button under Tools tab, then Find&AutoConfig button under Global/External/ExternalDevices. The device name up in the device list box has to be selected all the time, check on that every time.

Same thing as usual. It read itself as KG 12 again.

I mean do the whole sequence mentioned above on another computer; there might be some software blocking your main computer.
