Having problems setting up GF MKIII
Hi guys, I'm in need of help. I just updated from the GF2 MKII to a GF MKIII base and I have a MCG? grip. At first I could see axis and no buttons. Then I flashed it but probably chose the wrong file or no file and now I am stuck. How do I restart?
HELP!
Thanks in advance.

Re: Having problems setting up GF MKIII
Need more details - what device is recognized in VKBDevCfg? Do you have a MCG or MCG Pro grip? What firmware did you flashed? Is the grip properly seated? Have you upgraded to MKIII by getting a new base or the upgrade kit?
Re: Having problems setting up GF MKIII
VKB Device Configurator shows VKB Boot NJoy32 platform V00.56 Lite
I do not know how to tell if it is Pro or just MCG.
I dont know what firmware I flashed. I think something like GF3 with a twist grip or something.
I have tried multiple grips and all I can do is HOPE it is seated. I cannot tell.
What can I tell you that would help?
I use this professionally and I need it to work!
Thank you

Re: Having problems setting up GF MKIII
There is a switch on the right side of the grip, labeled DC, how many buttons on it - 5 or 2?
Restart the joystick (unplug/plug back to USB), what device name VKBDevCfg presents?

Re: Having problems setting up GF MKIII
When I try to flash it in the VKB DEV CFG it just gives me the CPUID error and tells me to do it manually. Then I try manually with the Z-boot loader and it tells me DEVICE NOT READY ABORTED

That button represents 5. UP/DN\LT\RT and depress.
When I disconnect and reconnect it lists as: VKB SIM Gunfighter Ultimate Twist XT V2.055 MK2

I think I tried to flash it as that but I was just guessing.
No it does not twist. it is plastic.

Then it must be a MCG Pro grip. What color your Black Box is, orange or black?

Re: Having problems setting up GF MKIII
Delete all VKB related files from you computer and start from scratch by following this guide step by step. When it comes to flashing you'll chose the file called _BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_PRO_v2_09_0.vkb (please make sure this is the file you're flashing otherwise it won't work).
Re: Having problems setting up GF MKIII
What and where are the VKB files located and what do they look like?
