Hi guys
Currently trying to setup Elite Dangerous, and using the keyboard emulator to get my SEM to work via keyboard emulation in game.
The problem is, when I map the rotary switch to keyboard keys, it registers as a constant press, ie, if I map Mode 1 on the rotary switch to keypress "S," it just keeps constantly pressing SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS in game as long as it's on Mode 1.
How can I fix this? Or better yet, how to remap the switch so that every turn only registers as a temporary push, and not a constant?

Identify the 4 Selector buttons' cells in Buttons/Physical Layer and set them all up as Generator, Type G1, Value 1, Multiplier 1x (you could adjust these settings depending on your preferences). Then assign those buttons to Keyboard and chose your keys for each. Press Set to save.

Oops, not sure if I phrased it correctly, I DON'T want it to generate repeated pulse inputs. I just want it to be one input that turns off regardless is button is still held down.

Re: GNX-SEM Rotary Switch
I tried this and it gives continuous pulses for a full 11 seconds before stopping. How do you set it up to send a single pulse upon switching to another position?
EDIT: I figured it out, you just set it as a toggle with '2 buttons' unchecked.
EDIT 2: Ok, i am dumb. My apologies. So what happens is when you first set it as a generator it sets the pulses to 0x. You have to increment it up to 2 then back down to 1 for it to send only one pulse.
