Gladiator + THQ issue
1 - Device model and version Gladiator Premium NXT R & GNX-THQ
2 - Controller Firmware version 2.059
3 - Number and type of springs used Default from factory
4 - Тype of cams used Default from factory
5 - If VKB original software is used, please always mention its version 0.92.17
Hi all.
I just added a THQ to my Gladiator but it doesn't show up in the VKB Device Config software. (Only the Gladiator does)
I cant find a Youtube vid detailing the steps to set up this configuration, only a Gladiator + SEM & that uses different buttons to trigger the setup process. I have seen a lot of comments regarding the Autoconfig button but I can no longer see that anywhere in the deviceconfig software.
Pretty sure its connected correctly - 3 pin on the Gladiator side & 4 pin on the THQ (There is two 4 pin plug options to plug into right next to each other but all the vids I've watched say that the modules have multiple plug in options for different configurations so I don't think that's the issue
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Gladiator + THQ issue
Your firmware is too old, please get latest software, bootloader and firmware and flash it.
Then follow the steps from this video guide, which has a similar build.

Re: Gladiator + THQ issue
Did you ever resolve this? I am in the same boat. I have ensured I have the newest software, bootloader, and firmware.
1 - Device model and version: Gladiator Premium NXT R & GNX-THQ
2 - Controller Firmware version: 2.09.0
3 - Number and type of springs used: Default from factory
4 - Тype of cams used: Default from factory
5 - If VKB original software is used, please always mention its version: 0.92.17
Joystick works fine. I can't get the THQ to work.
I installed the HID controller. Device Config however is showing it as NXT XT v.2.088. I have tried flashing GNX USB Controller v.2.09.0 to it, but nothing works. It just disappears or changes names and then comes back with the XT name.
There is no find&autoconfig button in Device Config for me.

Re: Gladiator + THQ issue
If you have the Gladiator and the THQ module interconnected you shouldn't use the GNX HID controller. Take it out, install the original bus controller and it will work.
The GNX HID controller is needed only when there's no Gladiator connected to the rest of the modules.

I don’t have the stick and quadrant connected. I have them connected to the computer with separate USB cords.

Re: Gladiator + THQ issue
You have to press the Default button, that would activate the Find&AutoConfig button.

Re: Gladiator + THQ issue
Still no joy. I keep loading GNX USB Controller v2.09.0 onto the THQ and no matter what I do it keeps showing up in VKB Device Config v0.92.17 as VKBSim NXT XT v2.088. I even select it and press Find & Auto Config and it still comes back as that. I have the HID controller installed on the GNX and have it plugged into the computer with the USB cord. When I use a different cord to attach the Gladiator the joystick shows up perfectly fine and works.

Re: Gladiator + THQ issue
yeah, that doesn't look good, something is interfering with VKBDevCfg. Try running it in Admin mode; if it still looks the same start killing background running software - anything like Razer, Aorus, Logitech, Corsair, any LEDs controller etc might be the culprit.

Killed all the processes I could see for those. I have Logitech mouse and speakers. Run as admin. Still no luck. Screen shots of task manager attached and video of config run.
Also, I don't get why it is consistently showing up as NXT XT v2.088...

Last screenshot looks good. Now click the Tools tab, then the Default button, then Find&Autoconfig button and calibrate.
