I'm having issues with the CMS on the MCGU, my computer isn't able to register any of the CMS inputs for some reason.
I had no issues with it yesterday, everything was working fine. When I started gaming today, I noticed that my CMS was only working when I push it in one direction. I tried unplugging and replugging the stick but that only made things worse. Now none of the directions are working.
I've tried checking the cable connections, changing the cables, blackbox, and the USB port but nothing seems to rectify this issue.Everything else on the stick works perfectly fine, it's just the CMS that isn't working. I've also tried reflashing the blackbox but that didn't do anything.
I bought this off of the aliexpress store back in June this year. Is my CMS dead and would I need to purchase a new stick?
Device model and version : MCGU-EN with twist Rev B with a GF mk III
Controller Firmware version : VKBsim Gunfighter MCG Ultimate Twist v2.025 mk2
VKB Device config version : v0.91.96 ( NJoy32 firmware v2.05.3)
Update: It seems the cms is registering intermittently, but only if I push on it hard, and even then, it'll only register for a second or so.

Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
Which button/HAT switch exactly you have issues with? When having issues with that specific button/HAT switch are the other buttons and axes on the joystick working properly?
Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
Thanks for your response. It's the five way switch where the thumb rests when holding the stick, just above the ring finger button. It's the only switch that I'm having issues with. The other switches, buttons and axes all work perfectly fine. It's no longer registering at all regardless of how hard I press it.

Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
Could you please post a screenshot with Profile/Buttons/Physical Layer? Did you tried the HAT switch in a tester and if yes, which one?
Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
I'm not sure if this screenshot is what you're looking for, but I've not touched any of these. I'll try to change the gunfighter base later on today to see if it might be the base that's causing this issue. The switch is working intermittently again, but only in one or two directions.

Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
Update to latest software and firmware please. Follow this guide to flash the new firmware and calibrate. Flash the file called '_BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_Ultimate_Twist_v2_09.vkb'.
Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
I've updated the software and firmware so that the software is now v0.92.17 and the firmware is now MCG Ultimate Twist XT v2.090 Mk2 (I flashed the file you mentioned). Still isn't working. Now it isn't logging metal folding trigger being flipped down. I've tried changing the base but that didn't fix anything. I've double checked the connections, including the cables in the base. The 5 way switch is still only working intermittently.

Pull the cap out and see if it's actuating without it.
Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
I'm not too sure how to remove the cap. Do I just pull it out with force or do I have to remove some other parts first?

Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
Just pull it out slowly. You could try using a screwdriver as a lever to push it out if it won't budge.
Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
I managed to pull the cap off and the metal bit underneath it moves fine. I can hear the buttons clicking as I move the switch too, but it still isn't registering on the computer. I'm guessing this is an issue with the wiring in the grip itself?

Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
Sounds like it. Comfortable to open up the grip and see what's happening? Warranty won't be affected.
Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
I'll give it a shot when I find some time. Are there any guides on how to disassemble the grip or is there anything I should take note of when opening it up?
Re: Countermeasure management switch on MCGU not working
So, I've finally got some free time away from my work to attempt to open up the grip. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the wiring as far as I can tell. Everything seems to be plugged in correctly

Try to reconnect the cable of the hut, and from both sides. Then, in the Profile-Buttons tab, activate the Poll checkbox and, by pressing HAT one by one, make sure that all buttons on the physical layer work.
