Mk3 base not recognizing MCG Pro after flash

Postby mk3help1 » Fri Dec 17, 2021 8:52

Device Model/version: Mk3 Gunfighter base with MCG pro L w Twist
Controller Firmware version: _BlackBox_GF_MCG_PRO_Twist_v2_09_0.vkb
Springs: 50 and 30 on each axis
Cams: Default soft cams
VKB Software: VKB Device Config v0.92.17 (NJoy32 firmware v2.08.0)

Hello, looking for some assistance with my Mk3 and MCG pro L w twist grip.

Here's how this issue started:
I had VKBDevCfg-C.exe open and I was testing the joystick inputs.
I accidentally clicked the Bootloader button and the lights on the blackbox all turned completely off and the stick was totally dead.
After that, I read about how to download and use the ZBootloader2.exe to try to fix and re-flash it with the firmware.

I've tried to flash it with '_BlackBox_GF_MCG_PRO_Twist_v2_09_0.vkb', which is the firmware I used when I initially installed the stick.
After I flash it with the Bootloader, I then open VKBDevCfg-C.exe and only the Axis from the base are being recognized.
The MCG pro grip is showing red and nothing on the grip works, and the red light on the BlackBox is flashing constantly.

Is anyone able to offer any assistance? I think something happened when I clicked bootloader and the lights turned off.
It was working perfectly before that, but now the grip seems as though it isn't being recognized properly.
Any help is appreciated.

Please see screenshots attached.

Thanks

Please follow this guide for flashing and calibrating. It will show you which firmware to use for your grip, base and Black Box.
