So it looks like the firmware package was updated on the website today, but it appears to be missing the _Gladiator_NXT_L_v2_09_0.vkb firmware. I made the mistake of flashing the _Gladiator_NXT_v2_09_0.vkb firmware onto my left stick thinking maybe there was an option to make it left-handed from there but it is not.

Now my left stick won't work properly and I can't seem to find any left-handed firmware for it anywhere on the site. What can I do to remedy this situation?

There's only 1 firmware for both the left and right hands Gladiator NXTs, so you flashed the right file. What you need to do now is to click the Default button under Tools tab, then the Find&AutoConfig button in Global/External/ExternalDevices and recalibrate afterwards.

Thanks! That makes sense! So I went through and did both firmware 2.09 updates for my left and right gladiator NXT's and now I have a follow-up question. In the VKB Device Config the devices show up differently:

VKBsim Gladiator NXT L XT v2.090 (left stick)
VKBsim Gladiator NXT R SEM THQ FSM.GA XT v2.090 (right stick)

Why do the names of the devices look different? Did I do something wrong?

What do you mean? You don't have those modules attached to the RH device?

What are "SEM THQ FSM.GA" and why is that listed for my right stick device firmware, but not the left? Are those referring to modules and if so, what modules? Why doesn't my left stick display the same modules? My sticks are identical outside of being left vs right.

You'll have to do the same on both sticks, as explained above - default, Find&AC, calibrate. That would display your both devices correctly.

Were you blue and red LEDs flashing as well? I ran into the same problem. I tried flashing and earlier firmware and now my controller is bricked.
