NXT: smooth virtual encoder axis?

Hello!

I need some expert's advice for the setup of my Gladiator NXT's encoder wheel as virtual axis for zooming in DCS.

Here's my system info:
1 - Device model and version: Gladiator NXT R with SEM
2 - Controller Firmware version: v2.088
5 - VKB Device Config v0.92.17

And that's my configuration:
  • I set up one of my NXT's encoders as virtual axis.

  • This virtual axis is linked the zoom axis in DCS World.

This basically works out, BUT:
  • As I need a quite large multipler (x512) the zooming is not smooth but rather jumpy.

Question: is there any way to soften the curve of the axis?

Have the same problem. Did you solve this?

Unfortunately, no!

The only thing you can do - as far as I know - is to experiment with the multipliers to find an acceptable setting.

Try modern FW&SW.

That worked! Still not super smooth but much better!
Many thanks for the hint!

I can't replicate that profile on my throttle, can you help me?

I will try! Some screenshots of your settings would be helpful though…
