Hey there,

I'm curious about what happens sometimes with my nxt. Sometimes when playing games I notice for a moment the lights on the stick flash red and white. It's almost instant and it seems to have zero impact on anything. The stick works great and I never have any trouble with it all. By sometimes, I think it's happened twice in a month..

What is the stick trying to tell me with this almost instantaneous flash...? Is there anything I need to do?

I should mention I have a lot of USB devices plugged in, I also just updated my chipset drivers so perhaps this will solve it. I did the joystick test and everything seems absolutely fine so - maybe no cause for concern?

In such cases, more configuration information should be provided - how many GNX joysticks, which knobs, which one is running, the firmware and configurator version.

Its one GNX joystick, premium right, the second latest firmer (I updated about 2 weeks ago) and the latest configurator. It was only for a fraction of a second, but I think it was a red and white flash...Just for a moment.Maybe I should ignore it for now and if it occurs again collect more info? What do you think is best?

I have this happening also on my gnx premium right-hand stick. The large led on the head of the stick (usually blue) goes white for around 1 second, then goes back blue every 5 minutes or so. Haven't noticed any loss of functionality of the stick when this happens tho...just curious as to why. Never did this before I updated to the latest firmware 2 weeks ago.
